Andrew is our Project Director and go-to-guy for all special projects, the more complex the better! He has recently developed and managed a number of exciting and innovative programmes for Business to Arts and our clients which have become successful new models of engagement between the private sector and the cultural sector. They’ve created a lot of fun for those involved, and become great case-studies full of possibilities.
Andrew joined our team in 2007 following 7 years in corporate treasury with a division of Rabobank International. He obviously has brains to burn with a degree in Social Policy, a post-graduate in Corporate Treasury and a Masters in Cultural Policy & Arts Management.
He has led and co-written a number of key research projects including the Private Investment in Arts & Culture Survey conducted in partnership with Deloitte, The Philanthropy/Giving Study commissioned by the Arts Council and Shining A Light on Successful Sponsorships - An Assessment of Ulster Bank's Festival Sponsorships conducted in partnership with PWC. He also plays a hands on role with managing and developing
Fund it, our crowdfunding platform launched in 2011.
In 2009, Andrew was a part of a US Department of State funded research visit to the US which aimed to identify trends and future opportunities for philanthropy in Ireland. He is the Business to Arts representative on the Government's renewed Forum on Philanthropy and Fundraising (2011). He has also recently joined the Board of the Butler Gallery, Kilkenny.
