The New Stream Knowledge Centre is an online resource which aims to inform and improve arts fundraising and management practice in Ireland.

Since the beginning of New Stream, one of its guiding principles is to share the knowledge gained across the cultural sector as widely as possible.  We have been lucky to work with global and local leaders in their fields, and this resource provides an opportunity for Business to Arts to reflect on key learning, to show practical examples of some of the great work achieved and provide tips and hints from industry practitioners.

This Knowledge Centre is provided free-of-charge at a time when access to information, new thinking and best practice is a critical resource for organisations working in a challenging funding environment.

In addition to the Knowledge Centre, Business to Arts continue to hold regular ‘investment clinics’ with arts organisations which support their ambitions in developing new streams of income. We also maintain subscriptions to relevant periodicals and web resources for use by New Stream participants.

Recommendations made by the Year 2 assessment of New Stream included:

• Enhance opportunities for joint working & networking among arts professionals involved
• Attempt to address the issue of time & capacity in the sector
• Launch the New Stream Knowledge Centre
