FOR IMPACT are coming back!!
27 & 28 Jun + 17 & 18 Oct 2011

Remember the big news from the evaluation of Year 1 of the New Stream Programme was that the participants of the For Impact Training had raised over €1m in the six months since completing the training?

Well, now’s your chance to find out how they did it! And if you took part in last year’s training, now’s the time to sign up for a recap.

Following their successful visits to deliver training in Ireland in 2008 and 2010, we are partnering with For Impact to deliver bespoke fundraising training beginning in June 2011 as part of New Stream.

For Impact fundraising training is relevant for all sizes of cultural organisations in developing a structure around their fundraising and being clear on how best to communicate their impact.

The framework for this training is based around the ‘For Impact’ entrepreneurial mantra ‘Think Big, Build Simple, Act Now’ and targets board members and senior executives of participating organisations to ensure the fundraising programme has buy-in.

Feedback from 2010 New Stream participants:

72 participants attended 4 For Impact sessions in Dublin in 2010. Results of the assessment of New Stream showed:

  • 93% of all respondents believed that as a result of For Impact training they had improved their understanding of how to build a successful fundraising campaign
  • 96% had developed a broader entrepreneurial mindset
  • 93% were more able to communicate to others the value of fundraising within their organisation
  • 86% were more confident in developing an internal/external fundraising sales pitch

In addition to the new fundraising skills and behaviours learned by participants, the following were identified as outcomes for their organisation:

  • Refined focus of the fundraising team
  • Improved fundraising mindset in organisation
  • Informed, as well as instilled confidence and positive thinking in organisation
  • Developed a wider business plan

€1,044,000 of fundraised income reported by these participants was attributed to the use and application of the For Impact model.
