Emily Carson | Head of Communications & Partnerships

Emily joined the Business to Arts team in March 2021 as Head of Communications and Partnerships, responsible for guiding and delivering all facets of communications, events and sponsorship relationship building within the organisation.

Prior to joining Emily was the Strategic Director of Image Now Consultants, a brand consultancy that was responsible for the rebrand of An Post in 2019, which Emily had a leading role in delivering. Her clients included RTÉ, RSA Ireland, Irish Rail, Java Republic, BNRG Renewables and others.

Emily’s experience in arts-based organisations include Marketing & Sponsorship Management for Body & Soul Festival and Marketing & Development for the James Joyce Centre. She has also provided marketing, editorial and event services for numerous freelance clients.

Emily is a steering committee member and volunteer with Dublin Digital Radio, an alternative media platform founded in 2016, and has written freelance for publications including The Guardian, USA Today and Totally Dublin. She co-authored a book with former James Joyce Centre Director Mark Traynor in 2015. Emily is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh.
