Rachel Assaf | Curatorial Projects Manager
Rachel Assaf joined Business to Arts as Awards Manager in 2020 and was responsible for event managing, implementing and developing the Business to Arts Awards Programme.
More recently Rachel has taken on a new role as Curatorial Projects Manager, overseeing Art Collection Management Services. Prior to joining Business to Arts Rachel founded the independent art consultancy, Rizk Art Advisory, which services private and corporate clients in the acquisition and commissioning of contemporary art and the building and management of contemporary art collections.
Having worked in the art industry in both Ireland and the UK, Rachel’s experience extends across the commercial art gallery sector, the Irish state, not-for-profit art institutions such as Parasol Unit Foundation for Contemporary Art, and the studio practice of Yinka Shonibare CBE (RA), where she has held management roles in exhibition delivery, patrons programming, artwork production, and artist studio management.
Rachel graduated with a First Class Honours MA in Art in the Contemporary World from the National College of Art and Design in 2014, having previously obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Business and Arts Management from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art Design and Technology.
