Sarah Murphy Abbamonte | Senior Manager – Memberships and Projects

Sarah joined  Business to Arts in 2022 as Senior Manager – Membership and Projects, responsible for managing Business to Arts’ Membership programme, as well as overseeing the development and delivery of our Advisory Services and Arts Funds. A native of Rochester, NY, Sarah’s previous experience spans both arts administration and nonprofit management with particular emphasis on cultural heritage, accessibility and sustainability in the arts, and the impact of tourism on economic development.

She was named a 2020 Diversity Scholar by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, a 2021 Preservation Leadership Fellow by Cultural Heritage Partners PLLC, and is currently a member of the inaugural cohort of Next-Generation Leaders at the White House Historical Association. Previously, she served as Chair of Partnerships and Outreach for the Young Urban Preservationists (Landmark Society of Western New York) and was a regional contributor to, covering contemporary Irish arts in the Washington, DC area.

Sarah holds a Masters in Public Administration, Non Profit Management (2016), a Bachelor of Science Honors in Psychology and Political Science (2014), and an advanced certificate in Arts Administration (2016).
