Awards Sculptures
Since the commission began over 30 years ago, we have worked with some of Ireland’s leading sculptors in a range of materials, always seeking to represent the power of partnership in new and interesting forms. This year, we are thrilled to welcome our production partner, Catapult, as our new Award Sculpture Commissioning Partner. This year, Catapult decided to broaden its support of the Business to Arts Awards to celebrate its 25 years of being our production partner, by taking over the commissioning of the annual sculptures from daa.
2025 Award winners were presented with ‘Genova’, created by craftsman and ceramic artist Noel Donnellan, a Clareman based in Co. Limerick. Inspired by Genesis (beginning) and Nova (new), the sculpture’s concept was developed as a seed growing into something greater. The stunning ceramic sculpture’s 23kt gold leaf interior represents the spark of creative potential, nurtured by purposeful partnerships. Watch the fascinating video below of how Noel developed this artwork for the Awards.
The 2024 Business to Arts Awards sculptor was master craftsman and woodturner Emmet Kane - watch his video below, and recent sculptors have included: Chloe Lennon, John Rainey, Kathleen Walsh, Emma Bourke, Ed Miliano, Cara Murphy, Kevin Callaghan, Gráinne Watt, Michelle Byrne, and more.
