Irish Film Institute

Fiona is Head of Development and Fundraising at the Irish Film Institute, Ireland’s national cultural institution for film. She is responsible for setting the organisation’s fundraising strategy, developing projects, building partnerships and raising private investment to help realise the IFI’s ambitious growth plans.

Prior to joining the IFI in 2014, Fiona was CEO of Get Connected, the UK’s national helpline charity for young people, where she grew the service, reach and revenue four-fold over five years. As CEO of Earthrace, Fiona led the international team in their successful world record circumnavigation of the globe, raising $1.5m and establishing Earthrace Conservation, and global marine conservation organisation, currently featured in the US TV series, The Operatives. Fiona was Executive Producer/CEO at the Bush Theatre, London, for eight years, commissioning, producing and programming new work for one of Britain’s most respected and innovative new writing houses, alongside West End transfers and international touring.
