Vanessa Moss

Royal Hibernian Academy

Vanessa is the Development Officer at the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA), one of Ireland’s principal public art institutions. She is responsible for the organisation’s overall fundraising strategy including corporate engagement, sponsorships and strategic partnerships, the Friends programme, events and private donors.

Prior to the RHA Vanessa spent four years as the Development Manager at Edmund Rice Development, spearheading such initiatives as the Beyond 250 Appeal which raised over €1.2m for the organisation’s work in Africa, Latin America and India.

From 2004-2007 Vanessa produced arts-related projects and events for Amnesty International under the aegis of Art for Amnesty (a4a). During her four years with a4a Vanessa helped to raise approximately €4m through projects as diverse as art sales and awards ceremonies to film premiers and multi-media music projects.

Prior to this Vanessa worked for a number of years in film and television production after beginning her career as the personal assistant to the artist, Barry Flanagan.
