Curate an art collection for Iconic Office’s newest co-working space in the HSQ2 building in Cork’s Custom House Quay featuring local Munster artists and responding to the biophilic design in the building.
In early 2022 Business to Arts began working with Iconic Offices to curate a bespoke art collections for their new office spaces in Dublin and Cork.
Our second project, a Cork-based collection for the new NSQ2 building on Albert Quay, was the first Iconic space in the city and the team wanted to support local artists working in Munster to create a contemporary collection of prints and original works that complemented the rich colour palette and biophilic design incorporated into the interiors.
We featured artists from local studios in our arts network, including Sample-Studios, Cork Printmakers, and Hang Tough, as well as reaching out directly to individual artists to acquire original works.
We proposed and curated works, conducted site visits, and managed framing, delivery, and installation within a three-month period, launching the collection in tandem with NSQ2’s launch in early September 2022.
