Business to Arts CEO Forum in association with PwC ‘Sustainability in Focus’
A C-Suite event aimed at sharing strategies across the corporate and cultural sectors for engaging with sustainability.
To create a timely and relevant panel discussion event profiling leaders in the corporate and cultural sectors sharing insights into their sustainability strategies for our member PwC.
Since 2016, we have worked with our members PwC to create an annual CEO Forum, where thought leaders from business and the arts come together to share insights, challenges, and strategies for success at a networking breakfast and panel discussion event in PwC's offices.
In 2021 Business to Arts was tasked with creating a digital-first event due to the ongoing pandemic that would highlight sustainability and draw out common threads of interest between both sectors.
Business to Arts sourced leaders from both within and outside of its membership to create a thought-provoking panel that covered a broad range of discussion topics, from cataloguing our national biodiversity, to planning for water shortages and decarbonising business transport.
The 2021 panel featured:
- Cathal Marley, Group Chief Executive, Ervia
- Virginia Teehan, Director, The Heritage Council
- David McRedmond, CEO, An Post
- Tania Banotti, Director, Creative Ireland
PwC's then Managing Partner Feargal O'Rourke provided opening commentary on the firm's experience working with its clients on this issue.
